Expanded access to field space!

Marin FC Enters into Partnership with Dominican University of California
Marin FC has begun a new strategic partnership with Dominican University of California to expand our access to quality athletic fields. Starting March 1, 2025, many Marin FC teams will have regularly scheduled training, games and other club programs at Dominican’s Kennelly turf and Penguin grass fields.
The partnership with Dominican provides much needed additional access to high quality training fields and the ability to plan for field usage and events in advance – something that is not always possible with the fields we have now. This additional field access will provide additional valuable training opportunities for our teams and will augment and supplement our current and continued use of fields and facilities across Marin, as we strive to deliver an elite soccer program for all of Marin. We are appreciative and excited about this partnership and the flexibility it will give us to continue our mission.
An added benefit to our two organizations formally coming together is the support Marin FC is also receiving from Dominican’s student-athletes. This spring we have seven Dominican University soccer players serving as coaches, alongside Program Director, Jenya Jawad, for our Spring Institute: Saves & Strikes Academy. We hope to continue to partner with these talented athletes to support and inspire our own players.
As we venture into this new partnership, we also want to use this opportunity to remind all players, parents, and coaches to please be good stewards of these new fields in our arsenal. Respect Dominican athletic teams who are practicing before or after Marin FC and do not enter the fields until they are completely off. Please also do not bring food or beverages besides water onto the fields and clean up any trash and belongings after each practice. For a full list of field rules and guidelines, please reference the attached document. Thank you for helping us stay in good standing with our new partner, existing partners, and positively representing Marin FC by following campus and field rules.
As this relationship grows, we are also excited about working with Dominican University to provide our players and families with added benefits to being a part of Marin FC, such as college recruiting support, player mentorship, and a variety of other events and activities in the months ahead.
Thank you to Dominican University Athletics for their support in establishing this partnership between our two organizations. We hope you are as excited as we are about this next chapter for Marin FC and the future possibilities it will bring for our club.
