Why Marin FC?
Soccer has been a part of my life for 39 years. I began my journey in Germany as a preschooler on my brother’s team, traveled across the United States in high school and college, and internationally after college, playing the national teams of Thailand, Singapore and Laos on my W-League Charlotte Lady Eagles team. Being involved with the sport of soccer and the many soccer communities I have been a part of has added a great richness to my life. It has opened doors to friendships and opportunities that I cannot imagine developing in another way. I see being involved in soccer as a process in which character, athletic skill, and the ability to work as a team all come together at a critical time of development, helping to shape the person each of us will become. I consider it a privilege to share in this process and feel truly blessed to be able to share my appreciation and love of the game with the next generation of players. The guiding principles in my coaching are development, belonging and FUN!
