In Jimmy’s words:

“… I was a six-time MLS All-Star, four-time Time Best XI, which only 15 players have done 4 or more times in the 30 year history of the league, I was MLS Defender Of The Year, MLS Humanitarian Of The Year, I got called up to my first US Men’s National Team camp in 2005 and 18 months later I was starting in the World Cup, I captained the US team on 5 occasions, which only 40 players have ever done 5 or more times in the history of the men’s program, I was in the FIFA video games, I was on cereal boxes, and it’s all because I made the choice to work a little harder than everyone else, I made the choice to believe in myself even when others didn’t, I made the choice to sacrifice whatever I needed to get to where I wanted to go.

If anyone tells you that something is not possible, I’m living proof that they’re wrong so, remember, it’s up to you to decide how good you’re going to be at anything and no one else…so go make it happen, make your dream a reality like I did, because if I can do it, you can do it, I believe in you!”
